Job Description

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects,

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

• Ensure resource availability and allocation across multiple projects

• Develop detailed project plans to track progress

• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

• Report and escalate to management as needed

• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

• Perform risk management to minimize project risks

• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation


Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

• Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology or Telecoms sector

• At least 3 years’ experience in a project management role

• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent presentation skills

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

• A strong multitasker i.e. running simultaneous projects and projects of a significant size

• Good networking skills and can work well individually and with teams in different departments

• Skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects that they oversee

• The project manager is required to act ethically and act within the ethos of the company always

• Strategic in approach: understands and addresses inter-dependencies and real issues

• Clear definition of requirements (tested by real customer requirements) and timetables

• Experience managing to deliverables and milestones: on time/within budget/meeting business needs

• Ability to manage troubled teams/projects and bring them to success

• Organized and efficient in work processes
