Job Description

Responsibilities:

Understand company Commercial products, margin analysis and pricing methodologies.

Support and review new sales to ensure maximum profitable on the product set and facilitating our sales teams by providing and reviewing pricing for products.

Understand pricing concepts for developing Carrier and Commercial pricing for simple and complex non-standard quotes.

Liaising and building a strong relationship with external suppliers to attain pricing and collateral to ensure accurate commercials and product info.

Perform service profitability analysis and run margin and win/loss analysis

Maintaining product database, recording and analyzing data on products.

Act as the Pricing team SME/Systems Management Engineer for pricing tools and systems.

 

Research and compare competitor-pricing ensuring that all product prices and bundles are competitive and commercially viable.

Monitor and manage the performance of products and services, reporting on cost effectiveness and commercially competitiveness.

Gather and report market competition and products through Market Analysis.

Maintain excellent working relationships with internal teams and external vendors.

Recommend and execute saving projects and opportunities

Track and report on saving initiatives

 

Qualifications & Requirement

Minimum 5 years telecommunications experience as a pricing analyst/pricing manager.  General knowledge of competitive analysis and margin analysis is desirable.

Commercial exposure to IT and communications products and experience of dealing with suppliers. Previous experience Supplier management experience

knowledgeable around business case development from cost and competitive sell price perspective

Excellent communication and relationship building skills both with colleagues and external suppliers as well as stakeholders within the business.

Highly developed analytical skills.

Experience of Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheets database tools.

Must have the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced work environment.
