Contractors are experts in their chosen field and therefore able to add value from Day 1. Contract assignments typically last 3, 6 or 12 months, with an option to extend. Contractors lend themselves particularly well to project based, time-specific assignments. They are engaged through us, paid via us and, where applicable, a relevant management company (to ensure compliance). They are charged for on an hourly, daily or monthly basis and provide the most flexible recruitment solution. The recruitment process can take as little as 24 hours from role briefing, candidate selection, interview, referencing, agreeing contracts to commencing the assignment.
We deal with many clients who need staff on a permanent basis. On successfully completing the interview process our candidates become full time employees of the company, with our client agreeing the salary, benefits and terms of employment. Permanent contracts are by definition for an indefinite period (subject to notice), which brings added security and stability.
We have considerable experience in utilising a variety of recruitment approaches to facilitate the effective delivery of suitably qualified resources. The main recruitment processes that are requested by our clients when hiring on a permanent basis are; contingency, retained search and executive search (head-hunting). Whatever approach is agreed upon, all candidates will be rigorously screened and vetted prior to selection. Psychometric testing and professional based assessment services are also available.
Some clients prefer to engage resources on a longer term contract. These typically run for between two to four years, depending on client needs and local employment legislation. In the majority of cases the candidate will have the same benefits as a permanent employee but on a fixed-term basis.
